1)How long have you been working with Linux and other Unix-based OSes?
2) Where did you get most of help and info (tutorials,how-to's, troubleshooting,news,etc) on Linux/Unix-based OSes, before you found out this great site?
3)What was your first Linux distro/ flavor of *nix?
2)howto's, Linux format magazine, and just messing around seeing what things do (the most)
3)Toms small boot floppy (if that counts) or peanut linux, but peanut would never install properly, and was very slow (installed on DOS) which kinda put me off.
ps - absolute ( i always want to use that but never have a reason to)
1. About 2 years; but unfortunately not full-time
2. man pages, howtos, system docs, some printed material, a ton of web sites; ldp and linuxnewbie.org in particular.
3. Redhat 6.2
1)Something like 6 to 8 month
2) Linux Questions and a Guru I know personnaly
(but like all Guru he likes to answer my questions with another question)
3)Slackware... It was too hard, I tried Mandrake shortly after. 3 weeks later I was disgusted, came back to Slack.
