Text to speech in linux?

can you recommend a tts engine that works in linux and is good in quality?

A quick search on Google yielded this article:

I played with Festival once a few years ago; it worked quite well and was certainly understandable while not being entirely natural-sounding; it may have improved since then.

festival produce sound of low quality like the MS tts engine did.......
