I am having a peculiar problem when I start Linux. I am using RedHat 6.2/Windows NT. Whenever I reboot into Linux from windows, I am not able to "telnet" or "ftp" to other systems. I checked up the network status, yes it's fine. After 4 or 5 minutes, telnet and ftp are working fine. I tried to figure out what's happening but failed all the time. Please help me to fix up the problem.

did you try to down and up your ethernet card freshly after linux boots?
