TEAC driver...can't mount CD-R drive....let alone burn..


Does anyone know where i can find a device driver for TEAC CD-W58E...(and if anyone could tell me, are LITEON CD-ROM drives completely incompatible with linux??) My teac drive is a cd-r, rw, 8x8X32...i really would appreciate it ...thanks

(SPECS: Red hat 7.0, KDE)

U might wanna have a look at the Linux Hardware Database, specifically http://lhd.datapower.com/db/dispprod...P?2750#drivers
