Task Manager in Linux?

I'm a M$ user and i just added linux a week ago onto my pc.
Sometimes linux becomes weird and like i can't close a program.

in Windows there's a Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete)

is there one in linux? and wat's the keys for it?

thx

in kde, there's ksystem guard.

ksysguard %U

also if you go into kde's control center in the Regional & Accessibility branch, in keyboard shortcuts, there's a listing for showing Task Manager. you can set a key combo for it.

if using gnome, i have no clue. sorry.

edit: screenshot in kde.
