System reboots after exactly 8 min 15 seconds!?!?! HELP

Hi there. My Redhat 9 system will reboot exactly 8 minutes and 15 seconds after it is powered on. I turned it on at the start of the day and over the course of many many hours it would always get stuck in this cycle. Nothing I do while the system is running will affect this even slightly ie running KDE/Gnome/Failsafe, running no programs vs lots of programs etc.

The consistency of this is baffling... Since it'll do it no matter how the system is being operated makes me think hardware. But what? Power supply? Faulty switch? Or is Redhat doing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you do not have windows installed on this thing, boot the computer with a live cd (e.g. knoppix) and see if this still happens.

Hard reboots. I just ran it on Damn Small Linux live cd and it still reboots but after a shorter amount of time. Obviously a hardware problem now. I'm gonna whip the case open and start pulling RAM.
