System keeps blacking out~

I have redhat 9 installed on my server....Yes I'm running it GUI

My problem is every 5 to 10 minutes the screen goes black.
I have navigated all over to try to disable this, can someone help me find where this is located???

Thanx in advance

Is it the power options? If not, I don't know.

Are you running xscreensaver, this may happen if it's running without any theme chosen...
Or the most probable thing is Power Management (done usually from the kernel with APM), it's not a problem to leave it on, on the contrary.

Is this going black or blank when its not in use and idle or while your actually working? Could possibly be your term settings.. man setterm for more options/details.

Check for any power settings and or screensaver settings as well. And why are you running a GUI on a server..

I've seen the same thing from the command line. It annoys me. I'm going to figure it out sometime..
