Each application will probably have it's own method for changing font size in the menus.

For Konqueror, try editing ~/.kde/share/config/konquerorrc, [FMsettings]. Scroll down to StandardFont= and change the first number after the name of the font.

For Firefox (and other products from Mozilla), there is documentation at the Mozilla website concerning setting hidden preferences. You will find there what you need to do to edit menubars.

the "StandardFont" is the font for the name of files and dirs in the viewbox in konqueror, it doesnt set the fonts for the konqueror window itself. i am talking about the "Location, Edit, View, Go, Bookmarks, Tools" etc etc font.. how do i edit THAT fonts size?
