Switching to a different hard drive

Hello,
I want to switch my linux to a new hard disc. I plan on just copying all my files and sending them to the new one. I know I'll have to change the GRUB boot settings, and /etc/fstab, but is there anything else that will need to change?

And also, I won't need copy any swap partition files right, just have another partition for it on the new disk?

I am not 100% sure of all that you need to change.

Depending on your configuration, it may be easier to clone the drive. If you go from --eg--ide to sata, you will still have change some things.

Backup any important data before doing anything....

Well, I'll try to just do it. If I have any problems, I'll switch my hd back.
