Switching terminals locks up system
After reinstalling the 32bit version of SuSE 9.1 vice the 64bit version that was on, I found that when I switch to a different terminal [ctrl-alt-f2] etc; my machine completely locks up. The /etc/inittab getty settings are correct. I switch and can see the output of the /etc/issue file, but then the box completely locks up. Any clues where to look first? I haven't seen any strange entries in the logs.
