Switching around partitions

I have two drives: a 60GB (master) and 40GB (slave). The 60 has WinXP on it and the 40 has Fedora Core 4. I resized my NTFS partition to 20GB, and now I have approximately 40GB free space. How can I somehow merge the 40GB of free space on the master to the slave drive?

Just create a partition and linux filesystem on the free space. Then you can move some of your linux files over. e.g. the contents of /home. Set up /etc/fstab to mount the new partition on directory /home. Delete old contents of /home.

I'm leaving out some steps here. If you are not familiar with using multiple disk partition better ask again or look at a guide such as

It depends on how your install was configured. If you let the installer autopartition then your drive setup for Logical Volume Management (LVM). You can a add the drive to the group. If your not using LVM then you can move a directory like /home or /var.
