Swap trouble..
Yesterday I thought my swap partition was a little to small(Sometimes all swap-space was used), so I decided to make it larger. First off, I removed the old one, and then created a new linux swap-partition('82'). According to cfdisk and fdisk the swap partition is /dev/hda11. When I try to 'swapon /dev/hda11' or 'swapon -a'(/etc/fstab points on /dev/hda11) it sais 'swapon: /dev/hda11: Invalid argument'. What does that mean? What should I do?
Fysical ram: 128mb
The old swap: 128mb
The new swap: 400mb
Running slackware 8.0, kernel 2.4.13.
Btw, is 2.4.15 just around the corner or should I go for 2.4.14? There's alot of vm changes..
regards,
Cyth
