Suitable distribution for a 486

Hi,

Found an old Compcrap 486 computer with 16mbs of ram and a 100mb harddrive today. It only has a floppy drive, and it doesn't have any CDROM-drive support.

Been browsing around trying to find a suitable distribution which can be installed via floppies, but without any result.

I was wondering if anyone has an idea what's suitable for it?

All I've found is supertiny bootable linux floppy distributions.

I would start by adding CDROM drive support to the computer. A CDROM drive is about 25.00 or so, and all you need is an empty 5.25" drive bay and an empty slot on your IDE connector. Then, I would take a look at DamnSmallLinux.

Thanks.

Network installation is an option of course.

Any other suggestions?
