LinuxQuestions.org - Suspend on HP NC4200

Hi Folks!

I did a Gentoo install on my NC4200 notebook. But i have problems with suspend to ram. I have installed the tuxonice sources (2.6.24-r4 and 2.6.25-r3). I also installed vbetool.
When i do s2ram in the console without X it works great. But when i later want to start X i get following output in the /var/log/Xorg.0.log File:

At this time i can see a black screen with the mouse, but it seems, that X restarts always. I can access the notebook via ssh, but i can not get X to work.

Does anybody now this problem? Or has the same notebook with gentoo?
