Suse Linux 9.1 Pro Mail Server/Relay
I posted this in the newbie section, but I now think it may have to advanced for that forum. I have browsed the forum but have not seen this discussed (this specific incident.)

Here is the problem: I have a new Suse Linux 9.1 pro box with all packages installed. I am running it as a web server and now have a user authentication script that when new users register it will send a confirmation email to their address. What do I need to setup up in order to do this? Currently, the company has a server that is equal to a Micro. Exchange Server. It does not have smtp, pop, or imap enabled. I can connect to it through tcpx, though. I think that I need to have a mail server running on the linux box so my php script can generate the email and then for it to relay to the other server. Is this correct? If so, how in the heck do I do all of this? I know linux but not this distribution. Any help, as always, is greatly appreciated.
