SuSE 9.1 Pro Bootsplash Problem

I installed the old bootsplashes for SuSE from the installation cd and changed my

/etc/sysconfig/bootsplash

to use SuSE-7.2 then did mkinitrd and lilo, however, upon restarting the computer I get no new bootsplash and the message

looking for image... no good signature found

I tried reverting back to the default SuSE in /etc/sysconfig/bootsplash and then running mkinitrd and lilo but I still get the same problem, despite it working fine originally. Anyone know how I can solve this problem?

Did you name the new bootsplash image the same as the old one? If not, either change the file name or edit lilo.conf. Also, make sure the image format is acceptable.
