Support for RPC in Linux.

What is the Support available in Linux for RPC across prcessors?
Also can I use RPC for communication between different processes with Linux?

Given that NFS and several other network services run using RPC, it is definitely well supported.

You could in theory use RPC for interprocess communication within a single machine, but given that other, better facilities (shared memories, message queues, semaphores, etc.) exist, why would you want to do this?
