Support for POSIX Trace

Hi all,

Is it possible to add support for POSIX Trace to my Ubuntu? Thanks in advance!

# getconf _POSIX_VERSION
200809
# getconf _POSIX_TRACE
undefined

Cheers,
Max.

What are you trying to do exactly??

If you are trying to troubleshoot scripts, would not setting the trace in your script work?

set -x

I'm implementing C++ library (threads, RT timers, message queues, semaphores, mutexes etc.) for my hobby project which is wrapper around POSIX primitives. At the moment I would like to implement debugging module and I want to use POSIX Trace functions.
