Superkaramba, aiglx and beryl

I've got the abovementioned installed in FC6 and Kubuntu Edgy. I also have the Desktop Access Applet. When I click on the applet, it shows the desktop but the karamba theme that is installed also minimises. This does not happen when beryl is not running. Is there any way to prevent the beryl behaviour?
