Hello

On one of my reboots I got this error "superblock contains illegal information" and linux would not boot. it's fixed not but I was wondering what would cause this error?

The most common cause of this type of error is an improper shutdown. Did you have a power failure? Did your dog chew on the power cord?

Hi jailbait

I don't have dogs, I have cats. They play this game which involves running behind the computer, getting tangled up in wires and making me angry. I did have a bad shutdown, I'm thinking that was the problem. Thanks

i have found that cats are real good at keeping a list of things most likely to annoy me, and, in fact, can compile new lists readily as circumstances require. i just do what they want and it works out.
