Suggestiosn on how to Partition 3 HD's

Hello everybody

I am a long time Linux user, but until recemntly I have only used it on our servers, never as a desktop environment, so I need some help on how to partition a Workstation :)

I have 3 HD's

1 - 32GB 10K RPM SCSI
2 - 32GB 10K RPM SCSI
3 - 50GB 7.2K RPM SCSI

This will be for a Workstation setup for Red Hat 8, I been noticing that X11 Machines use allot more /usr than a server, that is why I come to you guys .. what is your suggestions ?

Cheers and thanks :)

Carlos

A workstation is quite a broad term. For an average workstation just one of those harddisks will be more then enough. It kind of depends on which programs you will be installing and what kind of data files you have and in which location you choose to store them.
