Suggestions for portable-multidistro please....smallish distro's

OK, so far, I've somehow installed a few good distro's to my experimental
portable-multidistro, and I've run into a couple snags...

ok, i partitoned a 1.6gb qemu-img with 6 partitions(3-primary/2 logical+swap)
and I've got tinyflux, tinycore, pupflux, dsl-4.4.10,
tinyme, and puppy netbook904 installed so far...and still got space left

so, I wanna shoot the moon and put some more in there
I tried austrumi, but the installer was buggy and I also
tried xpud, and it's buggy too.

also, I want to put luitlinux on there, but it uses a boot.img
I think, to boot the knoppix compressed image-right?

i tried slitaz too and it runs real slow?
anyway, so suggestions needed please

I used to use qemu but wondering if you have an aversion to virtualbox?

I have run SliTaz in vbox and its blinking fast

Have you ever heard of this project called Multi Distro?? It looks abandoned maybe you could borrow some ideas from it?

How much space do you have left on the image anyway?
