Suggestions for portable-multidistro please....smallish distro's
OK, so far, I've somehow installed a few good distro's to my experimental
portable-multidistro, and I've run into a couple snags... ok, i partitoned a 1.6gb qemu-img with 6 partitions(3-primary/2 logical+swap) and I've got tinyflux, tinycore, pupflux, dsl-4.4.10, tinyme, and puppy netbook904 installed so far...and still got space left so, I wanna shoot the moon and put some more in there I tried austrumi, but the installer was buggy and I also tried xpud, and it's buggy too. also, I want to put luitlinux on there, but it uses a boot.img I think, to boot the knoppix compressed image-right? i tried slitaz too and it runs real slow? anyway, so suggestions needed please thanks |
hi
I used to use qemu but wondering if you have an aversion to virtualbox? I have run SliTaz in vbox and its blinking fast |
Have you ever heard of this project called Multi Distro?? It looks abandoned maybe you could borrow some ideas from it?
http://multidistro.tlm-project.org/md_en.html How much space do you have left on the image anyway? |
