Suggested disk space in linux


I have an 80 gig HD and i partioned 15 gig for my linux (Fedora Core 3) would that be enough?

All depends on what software you're going to install. But 15GB sounds like plenty. More is always better though. Remember you can store data on your Windows partition if you have one.

A full Fedora install should only be about 3 to 4 GB total in most cases. 15GB should be plenty of space if your just experimenting and such... I've installed Slackware down to about 300 MB on a functional machine...

oh another question, would it be safe to resize may linux partition using partition magic?
