Subversion thru Apache Problem

I get the following on my browser when I attempt to access subversion through Apache running in Fedora Core 3

<m:human-readable errcode="160029">
Could not open the requested SVN filesystem

I have seen some messages indicating this may be a problem caused by an earlier install. I need to be led by the hand through a fix.
