Strange message "Speicherzugriffsfehleresen"

After upgrading Debian Lenny I tried to download other packages.
That did not work. I got the message "Speicherzugriffsfehleresen....0%".
In dmesg appears the line:

apt-get[3110]: segfault at bfe376b0 ip b7ef6f8f sp bfda9a90 error 4 in[b7ec0000+bb000]

Who has a hint to find the reason and to remove it?

Thanks for assistance!

The reason was a mistake in /etc/apt/sources.list
Thankyou for the good ideas

The translation should be about right and might match the segment fault.

If you get lots of segment faults like this, you might want to give memtest86 a try. If it is just now since upgrading, I guess the upgrade didn't work very well. You have the correct architecture set?
