Unhappy "startx" problem


i have Slackware 8.1
"startx" and then --->
fatal server error:
no screens found

XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server ":00.0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining

you talking about the nvidia drivers?

this is just a guess

I would say it stands for Intel Architecture 32 bit and 64 bit

Most will use 32 unless they have a 64 bit system
