Starting / Stopping / Restarting Services in VA Linux?

Hi all,

I use a Firewall Linux Program called Smoothwall SE 0.9.9
that uses a stripped down version of VA Linux....
Can someone tell me the terminal commands in this Distro.
of how to stop / start / restart services.
In particular dhcpd

Any weblinks for commands supported under VA Linux would
be greatly appreciated also...

Thanks for your help in advance...

Aaron

If I remember correctly, VA Linux puts the scripts in /etc/rc.d or /etc/init.d. There should be a directory for each run level.
