Question starting program with preset priority


i installed LFS, everything went good. I have X, blackbox, and most program i want. Very happy with it so far.

What i want t do next is start program with prset priority. 4 exawple:
xmms with priority -20,
firefox -5
some i was able to use nice in a script at boot time, like:
X -20

But nice need root.
any good idea?

Use sudo; can be set up to not need a password.
I believe GNU su can be configured to not require password also
