Start Apache when system boots up


How do I configure the apache web server to run when the system is booted up?

what distro?


in redhat you just run setup and select System Services and enable httpd

or basically put the command to start apache in the startup scripts.

add a call to httpd or apachectl to your system startup files (typically rc.local or a file in an rc.N directory)
