SPIN and LEACH protocol in NS-2
 

Hi,

I have an upcoming project on wireless sensor networks and the protocols SPIN and LEACH.I would like to know which version of ns-2 should i use to implement these protocols and run some codes?
Are there any open source codes available for these protocols?
Please advice me or direct me in the right direction.A little confused as to how to begin.

thank you knudfl ..i shall check it out and try ..but it would work on any version of linux right?? i mean fc 11 or 13 would'nt matter much..had faced issues concerning version of fc with ns-3 earlier..

Default is CentOS / Scientific Linux.
( RHEL 6 / CentOS6 / SL 6 are Fedora 12 based.)

The most versions of ns2 were built and tested on the older
versions of RHEL / CentOS, e.g. CentOS 5.

But any Fedora will do. Just avoid Ubuntu 11.04, 11.10 and similar.

I've downloaded the SPIN source code. Can u guide me in integrating it with ns. I am using ns2.34 installed on ubuntu 10.04. I've already integrated LEACH with the help of other threads but there are no threads for integrating SPIN. Can u please help me. Thanks anyway.

please help me.i had installed the ns2.34 on ubuntu 11.10 but i am not able to run the given LEACH code .please tell me the steps to run the code as soon as possible

sir the steps u are give r followed by me give me error at the time when i write "leach.err".it say no such file or directory plz rely as soon as possible

Which steps ? ? Not sure you will get any LEACH,
if SPIN only was installed.
And which OS / ns2 version did you use ?
