speed of mouse


i'd a problem with the mouse..as soon as i right click it..a new terminal window appears...
for eg.. it i want to copy some command written on the terminal..i click the right button of the mouse nd select copy..but as soon as i click it..a new terminal window appears..is it related with the speed of the mouse..how should i make it work properly..
