source dir for kernel under mandrake 8.2

in mandrake, what is the dir that holds the sources for the kernel? plz help, i think i may have figured out the problem that has been plaguein me for quite sometime..... SOUND! plz, if anyone knows what dir this is...... it's not /usr/src/linux.

it is. you just need to install it first...

what cd are the sources from? ack... thats why my soundcard isn't working..... i don't have any linux folder in /usr/src/.. ack.... thanks... where would i get those...?

hell, i can't remember what cd it's on. just have a look for yourself. Anyway, rpmdrake should know that anyway.

but the thing is though,,,, i only have cd1, on anything else, i'm screwed! i can't burn anything b/c i didn't get the files i needed from the initital install. ack.... oh fluff.... i should be able to find everything i need at rpmfind.net right...? oh well.... gosh, if anyone has any ideas, drop em. thanks
