Sound problem


It detects my sound card all right, but when i go to play sound, I get nothing. Please help!!!

Definatly check to make sure desktop sounds are enabled. If you are using know it should be somewhere in Gnome config. Try starting up a few games that take up the whole screen, they should work with osound even if the desktop sound is disabled.
