Sound On Slack

I can't get my sound to work on slackware, is there like a sound configuration file that i can use to configure it ?
I'm using a creative audio pci sound card.

Cheers.

Slack doesn't install your audio for you. All you have to do is: modprobe emu10k1

To get sound to start everytime you boot up edit /etc/rc.d/rc.modules and uncomment the part where it loads the emu10k1 module.

You might also need to change the permissions on /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer.
