Question Sony Vaio PCG FR215S and SuSE Linux 8.x

Hi,

I try to install SuSE Linux 8.2 on a Sony Vaio PCG FR215S.
Unfortunately the installatin process stops at loading Yast2 without any further message.

Trying to install a SuSE Linux 8.0 ends in the same result.

Installing SuSE Linux 7.2 works fine, but graphics resolution is poor (only 800x600, 8bit color works with the graphics chip ATI Radeon IGP 345M).

Has anybody else the same problem or has anybody a workaround to install SuSE Linux 8.2 on this notebook?

Thanks in advance
Andi K
