snes9x
 
I'm havin trouble getting an snes emulator to work. If i # ldd snes9x it comes back

libXxf86dga.so.1 => not found
libXxf86vm.so.1 => not found

and there is like 8 that were found...
I tried looking for those two files and found only rpms...i need tarballs anyone one know where i might find them at??

If you have rpms with those files, install them.

You can extract an RPM like this:

rpm2cpio <rpm name> | cpio --extract --make-directories

well,
i couldn't manage to do anything with those rpms...but, lo and behold i found another emu...AND IT WORKDS!!!! legend of zelda should to well to ease my mind for a while..:D

im a happy camper right now;)

go to http://www.zsnes.com/files.php and get v.31 (it's the latest) you can either search for roms on google...or jump on KaZaA and download them..(i got like 150 games now...half of which i won't even play ;) ) **can we say ChronoTrigger!!!**

ps...read install.txt look towards the bottom..it tells of a couple of packages and where to get them..
