Snappix

Snappix is a live cd based on Knoppix but with loads of Java and other development tools http://snapplatform.org/snappix/home/

Does anybody know how to install it to a partition?

http://snapplatform.org/snappix/home/?q=node/9 - you just had to click "read more" on the first article of the link you provided.

And "read more" is a lesson we can all take away with us, isn't it?

That article was posted 30 hours after I started this thread

And I'd already tried out the knoppix-installer script he talks about and it's completely broken. It has references to knoppix files and directories that don't exist on the Snappix cd

Then the best thing you can do is to email the maintainer and find out what he meant to write.
