smb_auth program stoped working!

i have a program called smb_auth its a basic program designed to authenticate usernames and passwords on an windows nt machine, it was used in a project calledd MRBS ( meeting room booking system )

i have decided to use that program on a website but all of a sudden it has stoped working
the program returns true if the username and password are correct and false if the username and password are incorrect

the syntax is smb_auth user pass server1 server2 domain

and it fails every time, but it used to work
i have tryed removing the computer account from the domain and readding it
and i am all out of options has any one else used this program or is any one out there that is an expert at samba?

please please help! i am getting desperate !!!
