Small cursive fonts #@$%$#@!

When I open a txt file in konqueror I get this rediculously small cursive font. I think its called arioso. Ive changed all fonts in the browser to either helmut or helvetica and I still, when opening the txt file online get the cursive font. I then took a look at the font option from the main task bar and found an arioso "fised width" option. However when I try to change the font to something else legible; hit "apply" and "ok" it wont stay. Is there anyway to change this. Please only respond if you know exactly what Im talking about. I know someone out there has had the same problem.
