smail - how to adjust sender

Hi all!

After configuring smail (dial up, one user only) my ISP rejects my mails with:

550-Unrouteable address
550-Sender verify failed
smtp: 550-Verification failed for user@host

To try some possible "Sender-Addresses" I'm wondering where to adjust "user@host":

* In /etc/smail/config there is a variable called visible_name to change "host" - but smail puts automatically "user@" infront
* I tried the smail-flag "-oMa sender_host_name" - but it seems that this effects the from:-line only (and not the "Sender-Address").

TIA for any help
Lea
