Slowcoder: GPL request for your Loader 2 application
 

Hi,

Sorry for tracking you down like this, but I've been trying to figure out how to reach you for a while and noticed you seem to be active here. I'm pretty offtopic, but it's about an app you wrote for iPodLinux.. so that's at least a little Linux related, right? :)

A while back you wrote Loader 2 for the iPodLinux project and it's been a great asset to me: I've been working on a text mode library and some other iPod projects (Spanish <-> English dictionary, book reader, Roadmap port, Moria port) that make use of modified versions of the Loader 2 code. I'd like to share my creations, but the copyright status of your code in Loader 2 is uncertain. Would you be willing to release your work in Loader 2 under the terms of the GPL?

I have been able to contact all other Loader 2 authors and they are fine with the GPL.

Please let me know either way :)

I see that slowcoder does not wish to be contacted by email - how about locating an active thread the snail-like one has posted to or started recently, and adding a short message directing to this one?

I'm apparently not the SlowCoder you think I am. I have not participated in any loader or ipodlinux projects. Sorry.

I'll close this thread in that case. Good luck finding the *other* SlowCoder :)
