slow rh9 after mac plugin
 

Hi, we have a RH9 server in london (p4, 512Mb ram, 250GB) which supports a small user base, (approx. 15 users) one of our users from our south africa office travelled to our London branch with his mac os 9 laptop and plugged into the london network.. ever since then the network seems to have slowed up major. is there anything I can check for? I have tried to get a look at running services using ps but that does not seem to display what I am looking for. I have also checked disk usage on var, and that is ok, no problems there. all the other workstations are win XP logging onto RH9 domain.

You check for viruses on the network? Is it just the server or the whole network? What exactly does this server do, issue out IP's, anything else specific helps out as I've never heard of such a problem just by someone plugging in a computer on a network. We're as clueless as you are until more details are provided.
