i have never used it before, i have sepearatley downloaded dockapps, i just want them to appear in an order that like, the blob is at the top, the cpuload is next then the memory load etc...

I think they'll each appear once they've constructed their displays, so the lighter faster code ones will list first. Unless there's an option with your window manager, I think you may need to write a script which waits between executing each app.
im trying to get xterm to load when i start blackbox. my .xinitrc looks like:
exec blackbox
xterm &
ive tried:
blackbox
xterm &
and
blackbox
exec xterm &
but when i start x i dont see the terminal window. maybe im missing something here but doesnt the "&" mean background process? trying to get xterm window to automatically load after blackbox is done loading.
just checked my .xinitrc, I also have that exact same line and xterm stars up for me. Stupid question, but are you sure that "xterm" is a working command? lol, maybe for some strange reason its not
