Slax Linux and Others

I loved the Slax Linux Distro and the pleathura of modules with some of the greatest tools for troubleshooting issues. I loved the fact that you could install it on usb stick and use it anywhere but what happened to it. All of the modules are gone. Is there another distro that is replacing the kick butt Slax? can someone please shed some light?

What do you mean? Slax 6.0.5 came out in March this year! The site is up, even the modules are still there.

Slax is probably my favorite Live CD linux. I have not used it since 6 came out. But I highly recommend people give it a try.

I love Slax as well but they used to have a huge module base and now it is down to just a few apps. I need an anti-virus to clean a windows machine. What happened to all the modules they once had before? I have used Slax in a while but the last time I used it they were so many modules to choose from and from what I read the changed the .mod format to a .lzm.

Tomas had to redo all the modules to be compatible with Slax 6+. They have to be made and tested and approved(by Tomas) It will be a while before all the modules will be populated again.

I see that you have to convert .mo files to .lzm in order to be able to use the modules.

PHP Code:
mo2lzm filename.mo filename.lzm
Can anyone recommend a decent module repos website?
