Slave to Master Question

I inadvertedly installed Red Hat 9.0 on my HD that was setup as Primary Slave.

I would like to move the drive to Primary Master but it linux won't boot. Something about 'Kernel Panic'. Can anyone share some instruction on how to accomplish this.

I really appreciate it.

You will have to edit /etc/fstab changing all the hdb stuff to hda and after moving the drive, reinstall grub.

Or use the "map-drive" option in Lilo.
