Slackdrake :-)

This is serious business :

I had Slackware on my machine, installed Mandrake on top of it and now i got something that boots like mandrake but sure as hell has the same configuration i made on slackware before, even the same font size and same charateristics.
I repeat ,when i finished mandrake instalation i had a ready to use OS with my name on it passwrds , everything , even my sound card
worked (i tried on slackware 8 but couldn't manage to make it talk).

PS i just wanted to know how can it be possible ?

SLACKWARE 8.0
MANDRAKE 8.2

Did you click on the Install or Update button during the installation process?

From what you are descibing it sounds like you clicked on 'Update' because it kept all of your old configurations.

It's instesting that you installed Mandrake 8.2 as I can only find the latest Mandrake of 8.1....

Try installing Debian as well, then it would have SlakeDebDrake...
