site management

I have progressively typed an entire web site that is becoming difficult to manage. Is there tools to help in Linux, preferably in Debian?

Most of the things I want to do could probably be done with bash scripts but I have no experience in bash.

For example and among other things: changing links, condensing the pages for uploads & downloads etc.

Should I learn bash?

Thank you for your help.

I'm not sure what exactly you want to do, but kdewebdev, including Quanta+ and Kommander is pretty darn powerful.

Thank you for your answer, I use gnome and I just tried to install kdewebdev which does not seem to work under gnome although quanta+ is and is known to do so. But quanta+ does not do any of the things I have in mind

I am tempted to think I should learn bash.
