Silly question perhaps, but is it at all possible to play WMV9 files with Xine?
If perhaps there's a way to use the Windows files...But it must be known here, of course. Is it doable?

Got that collection of porn stored in WM9 huh?
/me coughs
Err... I mean. Yeah, sure, no problem.
You'll have to install xine and all the xinelib packages. There's a codec to decode wmv9 and quicktime and all the windows video codecs...

I'm not arguing that, certainly. I just need to get around to re-encoding them.

You need to download and install win32 codecs from mpayers download site. I tend to download the "all" package and extract to /usr/lib/win32. Another good source for win32 codecs is the xine nightly builds site.
