"Show Desktop" button for GNOME

I am using GNOME and I do not have the "Show Desktop" button on my panel.
I tried to add it by right clicking on the panel and going through panel --> add to panel --> applet --> utility. But I cannot find the "Show Desktop" applet.
Can anyone tell me where can I get the "Show Desktop" applet and how to add it to my panel.

For me, it's under "Right click on panel -> Add to panel -> Tools -> Show desktop button". However, since I'm using a translated version, the words may differ for you.

What version of gnome are you using. I'm using 2.2 and I got a show desktop icon easy. Just search around if you have this version for the button.
